MIT study
A scientific study by MIT [link] scanned the brains of volunteers.
- One group of volunteers was asked to use ChatGPT to help them write an essay.
- The other group was asked to write the essay without AI.
The EEG scans of those using AI showed poorer judgement, reduced brain engagement and memory loss, where they couldn’t remember key parts of their essay.
